Mz. Koko Bowden is no stranger to the music industry. She is a 25+ veteran gospel singer from Candor NC. Her love for music became her inspiration for helping others in the music industry. Not seeking fame but seeking souls for Christ. In 2012 she took her ministry to a higher level by creating UGA Gospel Storm Internet Radio Broadcast. Ten months later the show was picked up by 2 other stations CEO Melvin Jordan, Legend 107 Radio Tampa Florida & Jazzy Soul Radio CEO Pete J. Lindeman broadcasting in Melbourne, Australia, Asia, & Botswana South Africa. Lindeman made Mz. Koko Bowden an official International Broadcaster. Mz. Koko Bowden also known as a promoter & A&R Scout for major labels including Universal & Def Jam have always gave information to help artist. In 2012 Mz. Koko Bowden launched her nonprofit business entertainment firm called Central Carolina Entertainment. She is responsible for getting over 400 Indie artist played on different radio stations and interviews. She also worked as A&R consulting under the guidance of Zane Tobin, California 2012 to 2013. This is where she gained major industry knowledge and connections. Mz. Koko was welcomed into the world of hip hop & the gospel industry. She credits Patrick Michaels of PM events Floyd Mayweather Jr. Money Team for helping launch her career in hip hop & R&B. In 2013 Mz. Koko caught a major break by being asked by Central City Productions to live stream the 29th Annual Stellar Awards. This took her ministry to another level allowing her to connect with gospel industry executives. This lead to mainstream artist being played on UGA Gospel Storm Radio broadcast. She has worked with several main stream artist & Indie Artist during her career including Woody Rock of Dru Hill, Kyle Norman Jagged Edge, BET Comedian Small Fry, Deborah Barnes, Comedian Carlos Massy aka Big Los, Season 5 Sunday Best Contestant Pastor William Harrington, Street Team promoter for Missy Elliot the Banji movement.. She has also had the pleasure and currently is a street team promoter for Apostle Veryl Howard (Faith Management) working on events with artist such as: Detrick Haddon, Todd Dulaney, Fred Hammond, James Fortune, Ruth La’Ontra, The Christian Angels, and more. Mz. Koko now has a new show on Blog Talk Radio called “Whoose Who” Interviews. The show launched Sept 2014 and is one of the top shows to be on for Indie Artist 411. She has done interviews with celebrities, Indie artist, play writers, and there is more to come. I am thankful for the doors that have been open, but I am more thankful for the souls that have been won for Christ through my broadcast ministry.
